The International Conference on Higher Education and Lifelong Learning (HLCONF) takes place in Paris, France, from 10 to 12 June 2027. It is an international higher education conference for researchers, academics, educators, doctoral students and policymakers who study how universities, colleges and adult learning providers teach, organise and change.
Higher education is being reshaped by new expectations. Institutions are rethinking curricula, assessment and digital provision; adults return to study at many points in their working lives; and systems are asked to widen access while protecting quality. HLCONF brings these questions together, which is why it is also a lifelong learning conference: learning continues long after graduation, and research on adult, continuing and professional education belongs in the same discussion.
As a higher education research conference, HLCONF welcomes empirical, theoretical and methodological studies, policy analysis, practice-based research and systematic reviews. Every abstract is evaluated through double-blind peer review. Accepted and registered abstracts are published in the Conference Abstract Book with an ISBN, and eligible full papers may be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISSN and DOI.
You can give an oral or poster presentation in Paris, present live online, or attend in person as a listener without submitting a paper. To prepare a submission, read the call for papers.
